Check out this amazing Trance channel on YouTube!

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a fantastic Halloween :-)

As true fans of the Trance genre most of us spent quite a bit of time with searching for new tracks or promising producers. One source I check regularly is FlyingDonald’s Trance channel on YouTube. He’s been around for a while now and I’d very much like to bring him to your attention. He has a great taste in Trance and the videos that go along with the presented tracks are simply amazing. You should really check out his channel…

My piano version of ATB’s song “Let you go” on YouTube!

Hey boys and girls,

inbetween recording new songs or creating new sounds I sometimes like to jam on my piano. Well, normally I just do this to relax and have a bit of fun, but sometimes I do think that the outcome of such a jam-session is well worth to be shared with other people. Recently I listened to ATB’s great song “Let you go” and thought that it would be great to Read the rest of this entry »

Trance makes the world go round…

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great Easter. I spent some time in the city of Knokke at the Belgian coast and it was great.

Today I want to give you a bit of insight to my passion for Trance and how I became a Trance artist. Well, I have always been a huge fan of great melodies. I grew up during the 80`s listening to bands like “Pet Shop Boys”, “Erasure”, “Depeche Mode” and so on. Songs like “It`s a sin”, “Sometimes” or “People are people” are true classics by now and they all have something in common Read the rest of this entry »

Welcome to the official coriphaeus webblog!

Hey everyone,

I am excited to announce that from now on this will be the place where I post news and updates about coriphaeus, the trance & music scene, tips and other interessting things for musicians and producers and also some stuff about myself. Like so many of you out there I have always been very passionate about music. From an early age on I taught myself how to play guitar and piano and started to compose my own songs. Soon the feeling arose that I wanted to share my music with other people. But back in the days ( I was born in `78) it was not that easy to reach your potential fans. There was no facebook, no myspace, no last.fm and no YouTube. Getting your music out there was much more difficult. And i have to admit: Like so many other musicians out there i never really had the guts to submit my music to a record company. I either thaught that my songs were not finished or not good enough and that I could still submit something at a later point in time. But the years went by and there I was, still composing songs for myself and a couple of friends. Simply put, I struggled with myself and felt helpless and hopeless in ever being able to delve deeper into the music industry. But then things changed over night… Read the rest of this entry »
